From February 16 to April 27, the NOVA_XX 2024 Biennial will take place in Paris. A biennial dedicated to artistic, scientific and technological interweaving in feminine and non-binary modes, and in the light of the fourth industrial revolution.

After three sessions for examining the dossiers submitted to the NOVA_XX juries and making curatorial choices, the 4th edition of the NOVA_XX Biennial will feature the work of 43 artists.

In all, 43 powerful universes will be deployed in an archipelagic topography between Paris, Ile-de-France & the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region – aimed at approaching new epistemes, regenerating regimes of experience and language, and approaching nomadic, hybrid and de-essentialized ontologies.

The biennial is dedicated to those who, under the banner of a coalescing and heterogeneous genre, were confined to the “nave of the margins in the shadow of certainties”.

NOVA_XX – territoire liminal – aims to highlight works and approaches that seize upon, criticize as much as they attest to and incorporate scientific and technological data. These are works whose vocation lies in decoincidence, in tension, in the potentialization of sinusoidal worlds and cartographies. The Biennial is committed to the interpenetration of knowledge and the dilution of boundaries.
