The processing of personal data

KIKK undertakes not to resell Persons’ Data, nor to send them or make them accessible to third parties. 

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, Persons have a right to access and a right to the portability of Data, as well as to the erasure or the restricting of the processing of their Data. To exercise one of these rights Persons can send a request to KIKK by email to info@​kikk.​be or, in the event of a complaint, contact the National Commission for Data Protection (NCDP).

The personal data protection regulation protects the privacy and the rights of individuals. It applies to all of the companies and organisations which manage or have access to the personal data of living natural persons. Within the scope of its activities, KIKK is led to collect, record and consult a set of the data of a personal nature (surname, first name, physical or digital address, telephone numbers, etc.) hereinafter referred to as Data, of natural persons, hereinafter referred to as Persons, and to use them in analogue or digital form in processes which are automated or otherwise.

KIKK processes this Data within the limits authorised and whilst complying with the regulations in force, including the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 relating to the protection of natural persons regarding data of a personal nature. The regulation is based on the principles of data protection, or the rules of ‘good information management’, in other words, the data must be: processed in a lawful, fair and transparent manner regarding the person concerned; collected for specified purposes which are explicit and legitimate, appropriate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which it has been processed; correct and, if necessary, kept up to date; stored in a form which allows the identification of the persons concerned for a duration not exceeding that which is required regarding the purposes for which they are processed; processed in such a way to guarantee the appropriate security of data protection. 

KIKK uses Data collected primarily for communication and marketing purposes. In the context of targeted marketing, Persons have a right to withdraw, modify their Data on request or prohibit further use of their Data by unsubscribing. The Data collected from Persons are also sent, if needed, to subcontractors, if related to the services requested by the Persons and provided by these subcontractors (e.g. printing services for mailings, preparation and sending of physical or digital mailings by specialised companies). The subcontractors who hold personal data must comply with the regulations on the protection of personal data when they are managing this data.
